Viana do Castelo is a district composed of coastal and mountain towns. The city of Viana do Castelo is privileged to be bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, the Lima River and the mountain, and the nautical sports occupied a prominent place. There are currently 4 large sports centers linked to recreational boating, namely surfing, sailing, rowing and kayaking and huge companies dedicated to these activities.
